Hyunseok Kim received his B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Dong-A University, Busan, Republic of Korea, in 2001, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Republic of Korea, in 2004 and 2014, respectively. From 2001 to 2003, he worked for Samsung Electronics Company Ltd. From 2004 to 2009, he worked for LG Electronics Inc. From 2011 to 2022, he worked for Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). Since 2022, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Engineering, Dong-A University. His main research interests are reinforcement learning, swarm intelligence, and developing innovative behavior intelligence in multi-agent systems.
